What is
THE SACRED HEADWATERS?
Sacred Headwaters can be found all over the world as the source pools for some of the most important watersheds & rivers necessary for nourishing all life.
Modeled after the indigenous wisdoms surrounding the Sacred Headwaters of the Stikine River Valley, Mt. Kailash in Tibet, and the Amazon River Basin, there’s an understanding that the pristine source of these rivers is reflective of vital life force energy that permeates all existence.
Just as the Sacred headwaters of the Stikine River valley feed the Skeena, Stikine, and Nass Rivers in Canada and the sacred headwaters of Mt. Kailash of the Himalaya feed the Ganga, the Indus and Brahmaputra Rivers, our inner sacred headwaters feed the three wisdom regions:
The Head, The Heart & The Hara.
Just as a river flows, bringing nourishment and life-force as it travels downstream to empty out to the sea, we must cultivate an inner world that maintains a healthy flow to nourish our own inner ecosystem and let whatever does not serve anymore empty out. We must let the sacred headwaters of the Hara space reservoir flow out into the heart and the head.
